GTI Media

Editor

GTI Media Asia is Asia's leading education and graduate careers media company with roots in the UK. Here, I first started off as a Senior Writer and was promoted to an Editor within two years. My primary brand was postgradasia and I was the go-to person in matters concerning the brand and its products (publication, website, social media platforms, fair).

Key Tasks
  • Brand management

Served as the product manager of postgradasia, in which I oversaw the development, maintenance and revamp of the brand's publication, website and social media.

  • Content development

Provided print and digital content for GTI brands: postgradasia, doctorjob, gradmalaysia, Malaysia's 100 as well as several ad hoc projects.

  • Marketing

Conducted career talks and presentations at selected universities and fairs as part of the marketing initiative. Conceptualized, developed and managed stations at various careers fairs, education events, and our homegrown Mega Career and Studies Fair (MCASF) with over 40,000 attendees annually.

  • Management

Delegated work and assignments, and provided supervision and direction to a team of writers, designers and developers, especially in regards to content development, proofreading and product voice.
